Our History: A Legacy of Growth and Innovation

From Humble Beginnings to Agricultural Excellence

Lanskort Farms SL started as a small family farm with a vision for a better future. Over the years, we have grown into a leading force in Sierra Leone’s agricultural sector, pioneering sustainable farming, empowering communities, and driving food security. Our journey is a testament to resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to transforming lives through agriculture.

Lanskort Farms SL Ltd. is more than just a farm—it’s a legacy of resilience, vision, and transformation. Founded in Kabala by Kotor Pattie Mansaray as a small backyard garden, it started with less than one acre of land and a dream to cultivate fresh, quality food for the community. Today, it stands as one of Sierra Leone’s leading agricultural enterprises, spanning over 1,000 hectares across three major locations: Greenland (Makot Village, Bombali District), Springfields (Mabutosu Village, Mile 38, Port Loko District), and Sugar Land (Bankor Village, Freetown).

Passed down through generations—from Mammy Kotor to Amadu Kotor, and now under the leadership of Lansana Kotor—Lanskort Farms has grown into a powerhouse of innovation, sustainability, and economic empowerment. What began as a small family farm has become a national force, driving food security, modernizing agriculture, and creating opportunities for farmers across Sierra Leone.

To bring our fresh, high-quality products directly to consumers, we have also established two private markets and are on a mission to expand further, opening more markets across the country. Our goal is simple: to make nutritious, locally grown food more accessible while strengthening the agricultural economy.

And we’re just getting started. With bold expansion plans, cutting-edge techniques, and an unshakable commitment to excellence, Lanskort Farms is shaping the future of agriculture—one harvest, one market, and one community at a time.
